Bob Woods was involved in the development of the second scheme to be launched in the UK in 1990; and Mattioli Woods Pension Consultants has now established a number of SIPPs in partnership with other institutions, including Suffolk Life, Singer & Friedlander and, more recently, Newcastle Building Society and Bank of Scotland.
