Responsibilities within Mattioli Woods
As an Account Manager, I am responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of self administered pension schemes and personal investments. General duties range from account reconciliation, placing investments, preparing VAT returns and arranging tax returns, to more complex tasks such as income drawdown and arranging property purchases.To provide clients with an holistic service; account management involves working closely with consultants and liaison with clients on a regular basis.
Working as a member of the broking committee, my main duties involve tracking investment performance, reviewing and researching investments to maintain a 'best buy' list. We also have frequent meetings with representatives from financial institutions to discuss investment vehicles on offer, which in turn may be proposed to consultants.
