Mattioli Woods launches two new structured products with Walker Crips

Mattioli Woods has announced the release of two new structured products in conjunction with
Walker Crips.

The Walker Crips Global Brands Kick-out Plan is designed to take advantage of a global theme linked to companies with strong consumer brands. The plan is based on the share prices of five companies which sell premium consumer products through their well-established brands around the world. The companies are Louis Vuitton Moёt Hennessy (LVMH), Richemont, Burberry, Tiffany & Co and Estée Lauder. These five companies own some of the most iconic and desirable brands in the world, including Cartier,
TAG Heuer, Montblanc, Clinique, Givenchy and Bulgari and the plan offers the potential for an 8% annual return.

The second plan, the Walker Crips Global Equity Income Plan 2 is linked to five global businesses: Barclays, British American Tobacco, Apple, Volkswagen and BASF. Each company has a diversified product range that is sold around the world and the plan will pay income of 10% per annum on a six-monthly basis and will be distributed irrespective of the performance of each of the share prices.

Ben Wattam, Investment Manager commented; “The first version of the equity income plan was a huge success and the new plan has continued the theme of investing in international businesses which benefit from global product diversification and income streams. The kick-out plan is based on desirable premium Western brands being sold to consumers around the world, especially the Chinese.”

The new plans are part of a structured product portfolio, which now totals over £100m and lies at the heart of the developing broader wealth management business.
