Mattioli Woods sponsors Club of the Year

at the Leicestershire Sports Awards

Mattioli Woods has a firm, long-standing commitment to the communities in which we operate and we are keen to play a valuable role and contribute to the success of our county. This year we sponsored the ‘Club of the Year’ at the Leicestershire Sports Awards, which recognises sporting talent in Leicestershire.

We employ over 200 staff at our Grove Park offices and sport continues to play an important part of our social and charity work, with many of our staff engaging in football, cycling, running and hiking, among other sports in their spare time. Many of the team activities continue to raise money for good causes.

As a business we believe that sport brings both social and economic benefits to our local community. Leicester is renowned for its sporting heritage with clubs that are known all over the world. It is not only the senior professional clubs which play an important role but also the numerous local clubs, which add to the thriving sport scene. From cycling to hockey, martial arts, tennis, netball, swimming and bowling, these clubs are equally important as they provide sporting opportunities for everyone. Therefore, we are extremely pleased to support our local clubs, which we believe bring a sense of pride to the county.
